Pictures of the Kids

If you've adopted from us and your pup's not shown here, please let us know!

Ellie

Ellie had been abandoned, and we think abused, by her previous owner. She showed the classic signs of submissiveness — cowering, rolling over, wetting, terrified of men and strangers. She needed a special home, and she got one.

Molly

Molly

Just thought I would drop a line...Molly is great. I really have become intrigued as to her history. She is very well-trained, loves frisbee, can sit, lie, fetch, speak, roll over and play dead, she loves to hunt. Just what can you tell me about her as to where she was found and when? I wish she could talk because I feel that this little girl could tell an interesting story. She and I have become fast friends and she loves to ride.Joan

We should also add that this is the most special family in the world.

Brody

Brody (formerly called Sigfried) is doing great in his new home. He lives on the edge of a state park, so has a wonderful area to play and hunt with his Doberman brother, Bucky. His legs have completely healed. His family just loves him!

Noelle

Noelle

This is Noelle with her new guardian, who writes, "thank you so much for Noelle. She is a little angel. I love her so much! She is very happy now as you can see in these pictures — she is actually smiling."

Bianca

Bianca's new family reports that "she is very affectionate and loves to be near people. She only barks when strangers come into the yard and occasionally she sings the blues." (like huskies do!)

Ryker

Ryker

Ryker was one of those great lucky guys who moved right into his new home. We only had him in our facility for about a week before going home with the family who found him.

Big Guy

I'm not a canine but I was adopted from NCCR. I'm a 12 year-old Siamese found in a building at a local winery. I wasn't claimed, so the kind family that found me has opened their home to me. Here I am at work, slouching on the couch and investigating the yard.

Queenie's family tells us that "she is working out great and we love her dearly."

Seamus

Seamus

When Seamus first arrived at NCCR, his little head had to be shaved due to an infected bite wound. Now he's healthy and strong, and one very happy puppy with his new family.

Phoenix

Phoenix was adopted by a very kind family who, with an abundance of patience and love, have given him a life that he had, until then, never known.

Read more about his story in our Features section.
