Little Olive (formerly Nina) came to us with 3 other little dogs a year or so ago and she was adopted not long after. However, she and the resident dog have never meshed; after a year of trying, there has just been no result that will leave the two dogs living happily together so she is coming back to NCCR on 5/18. Her family says: "Olive is very sweet to my husband and I and any regular visitors. She is very protective of us and the house but we hold her when new people come in and she calms down pretty quickly and lets the new person pet her and there are no problems. Olive loves to go for walks but she would be equally happy sitting on someone’s lap all day long. She loves to cuddle and when she leans right in and looks up with so much love in her eyes it’s really hard to think of her not being here. I believe Olive would be best in a home without other dogs, I’m not sure how she would do with a cat. Olive is generally quiet, her bark is soft when she does make noise which is usually when strangers come over. She doesn’t like thunder and doesn’t really like going out in the rain. She likes to be warm and will get her business done quickly when we let her out in cold weather. Olive is fully house broken, though she will poop near the door if she is left alone too long."

If you think that you would like to have Olive for your one and only, please send in your application!

Olive is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $190.00.

Olive is kindly sponsored by Leanne DiNicola, Linda Bradigan in memory of Shaleigh and Rich, Thomas and Elizabeth Tarpley, Joel and Rebecca Cuthbert, Randy and Debby Ruhland and Andrew and Emilee Jae Robbins. Thank you!
