Henry (Spot)

This adorable little guy has been enjoying life with his family for the last few years! “Henry makes us smile all the time. He’s a blast and so good! Does bark at the mailman but what do you want, he’s a terrier!
Happy new year and stay healthy!”

Henry was adopted in April 2017.

It’s another Happy Gotcha Day for Grizz! “Grizz has especially loved that we’ve been home a lot this year. I’ve been working mostly from home and Grizz “works” with me, laying right beside all day. He’s such a good boy and we’re so thankful that NCCR rescued him, and that he’s been a part of our family for 3 years now!

Grizz was adopted in December 2017.

Little Suki was surrendered to NCCR in 2017 when his owner could no longer care for him. Suki was a little timid, but his adopter was willing to work with him. He is celebrating his 3rd Gotcha Day this month! Suki is well loved and has come a long way since his adoption. “He has brought much love to me and has helped me through my depression and anxiety. He is much more open to people.” Congrats Suki, hope you have many more happy years together!

Suki was adopted in October 2017.

“She has been a true blessing to our family. We were unsure of what her history was but with lots of love and attention she continues to progress. After 8 months of tossing toys and balls showing her they were safe she began to play. She is still anxious around men but has learned that she is safe and loved. She continues to be a one dog kind of girl in spite of many attempts to socialize but we are all happy and that’s ok. Thank you so much for the addition to our family.”

Ninja was adopted in May of 2017.

Portia (formerly Misty) was one of our miracle pups from 2017. Her poor momma was at a kill shelter, pregnant and heart worm positive. Thankfully we were able to help, but sadly Portia and her sibling Stormy were the only two survivors in the litter. After a rough start Portia, Stormy and their momma each found new homes. From Portia’s family: “She is such a character and is the best snuggle bug! We can’t thank you guys enough for all that you do and can’t imagine our lives without this sweet girl!”

Portia was adopted in August 2017.

Ella and Blu

Eden now Ella and BluLittle Ella (formerly Eden) was adopted in October 2019. She joined brother Blu who was adopted from NCCR in 2017.  She settled in nicely, has graduated from puppy classes and loves the resident cat!
