Our lawn sale was a huge success!

Open hearts bring success to Open House

Thanks to you, we raised nearly $6000 and found homes for 10 dogs & kittens!

Saturday, June 7th was a busy day at the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue shelter. hundreds of people turned out to tour our new facility while shopping at our fundraiser yard sale, enjoying refreshments donated by Welch’s and Petri’s, listening to the musical talents of the James Earle Band, and taking a chance at winning wonderful prizes in our raffle drawing! There were also many adoptions that day and ten wonderful dogs and cats left with their new families!

Things could not have turned out better! Although rain had been predicted for the entire day, we only experienced a brief light shower and the rest of the day was beautiful. So many people attended that there were cars parked from one end of N. Gale Street to the other and even down past the tracks and onto Oak Street!

J&J Excavating donated 100 custom NCCR T-shirts, which were raffled off every 15 minutes and given to adopting families. Fredonia Massage Therapy, who provided on-site massages. The James Earle Band for providing live music. Welch's for juice & Petri Baking Products for cookies. Quality Markets for hot dogs.
