There's more drama at our shelter than on any TV show.

Every dog we care for brings his or her own story. These stories are not just about the dogs: they're about the families, too, who had the courage to make a commitment to a "lost cause" and discover that within each dog beats the heart of a loving champion.

Max's Place
In honor of their beloved Max, a rescued dog, the Williamsons donated funds to NCCR for the purchase of 3 kennels. This kennel area, known as "Max's Place," is designed to house sick or injured dogs, or those senior dogs who need a quieter place to reside during their stay.
