| Goodbye
to a beloved friend
We are very sad to report that on Saturday, June 15, 2002, Mason
left us and moved onto the Rainbow Bridge after a brief illness
brought on by old age.
Mason loved being at NCCR. A few months ago he stayed with a volunteer
over the weekend and she had to laugh when she brought him back
to the shelter. She said she never saw a dog so happy to be brought
to a shelter as Mason was when they pulled in. She said his whole
face lit up as soon as he realized where he was and his tail was
swinging back and forth a mile a minute! Mason was loved so much
by all of us at NCCR. We will miss him greatly.
Mason was always, always happy and smiling! Every dog liked Mason,
even the ones who didn't like any other dogs still liked Mason.
Mason loved all people, especially children. He was the most easy
going dog we'd ever met! That sweet little crooked face of his will
stay imprinted in our hearts for years to come. Goodbye, sweet Mason.
We will see you again some day.
Love from all your friends at NCCR.
