Max and the students who named him.

A secret email from Max

Hellow canine rescue humans,

above is a picture of me and the four boys who came up with my name. mike had his students all write as many dog names as they could think of on a sheet of paper. then he took all of them home. he and is wife then picked out the name that they liked best. angel, hunter, jake, and kyle all wrote down max, so they all won.

first, i want to thank you for taking care of me and finding a nice family for me to live with. sorry i can't type good like humans. but i can't press down the shift key with my other paw, so the capital letters don't work. i came into school early today with my friend mike. he's a second grade teacher. he went down to the office. but he left the computer on, so i thought i would email you just to let you know i am doing just great.

i was a bit confused  for a while when i first got to my new home,but i quickly discovered that mike and his wife mary really love me a lot. they play with me whenever they are home and cuddle with me when i am sleepy. mike comes home for lunch every day to play with me and let me out of my crate. they feed me dog food, but i wish they wouldn't keep putting the cats' food bowls up on the counter. their food tastes better than mine. i own 3 cats. they are all bigger than me, but they seem a little bit afraid of me.

i'm only trying to be friendly and play with them. it took me about a week to figure out why they kept taking me outside in the cold when i woke up or after i ate. they didn't do that the first few days i was home. they kept having me stand on this newpaper. probably because it was so cold out even they didn't want to go outside.

yesterday i got to play with my tiny little sister sandy. one of the other teachers, mrs. rich brought her in. it was fun. we started fighting a little bit, but then after we got used to each other we played and shared a water bowl. everyone stood around and said we looked so cute together.

mrs. rush, another teacher, cried all weekend because she wanted to adopt my mom, but someone already took her. it was nice talking.......uh oh..........here comes mike. i better press the send button before he sees me.

later,

<end>
