A light at the end of the tunnel

RDAfter a year of unending patience and love, RD's story is truly a wonderful success. RD, a very handsome and lovable Husky mix, was adopted during the summer of 2001 and whisked off to his new home in Boston. He had spent the first 8 months of his life with his littermates and no one was prepared for the separation anxiety issues that would follow. On one occasion, RD removed a window air conditioner and was waiting in the front yard when his "mom" got home from work.

Concerned for his safety, his mom quickly enrolled him in "puppy school," which he attended during his mom's working hours.  After many months of school, RD has decided that being home alone, lounging around, isn't so bad after all.

He was truly one lucky dog to be chosen by Martha, who was so committed and unwavering in her desire to provide him a home and that she could see the light at the end of the tunnel and know that RD would be the wonderful companion that he has grown to be over this last year.
