Find A Friend. Fall In Love.

Sammy-Courtesy List

Sammy-Courtesy List

Sammy is a friendly, strong, and handsome Black Lab with LOTS of energy. He was born about May 2007, and is
housebroken and crate trained. Sammy LOVES to play fetch. His favorite toy is the Air Dog Kong Squeaker Donut and he
will chase it until your arm wears out. A fenced-in yard is a must because he loves to run. Due to his size and energy
level, Sammy should not go to a home with small children simply because he might knock them down. He has a high-pitched
bark when he gets excited but stops when he sees the squirt water bottle. Sammy gets bouncy when he sees his leash
but once it is on him, he walks nicely with a prong collar (or gentle leader) and he does know some basic obedience
commands. He needs a patient and experienced owner who is willing to continue working with him. Sammy is not at the
Rescue, he is currently in foster care and shares a home with several other dogs.

Sammy was found as a stray and his owners could not be found so he was taken in by the rescue.

If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application (see below). This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog.

Applying is very simple:
  • Click one of the links below in the desired format.
  • Complete the information requested.
  • Save it as a file and e mail it to us.
