Find A Friend. Fall In Love.

Buddy 1993-2006

Buddy 1993-2006

Sponsored by Joan and Dent Williamson in loving memory of Max.

With heavy hearts, we said our goodbyes March 27th, to Buddy, our lifetime
resident. Buddy had been in our care since 1994 when he was
brought in by a dog control officer who knew that if he were taken to a
traditional shelter, he would have been euthanized. Buddy was not adoptable, as
he was afraid of new people and acted out his fears by barking and growling.
Once he knew you however, you became a beloved friend. All of the volunteers
at NCCR loved Buddy and devoted extra time and energy to
his care to make his life as full as possible. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
A special thank you to all of Buddy's sponsors and volunteers who have cared
for him throughout his lifetime.

If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application (see below). This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog.

Applying is very simple:
  • Click one of the links below in the desired format.
  • Complete the information requested.
  • Save it as a file and e mail it to us.

If you do not get a response within 24 hours of sending your application, please call us at 716-326-PAWS. And be sure to check out all the dogs and puppies eagerly awaiting homes.
