Have you seen my family out there? Are you taking me home? I know you like my looks but I want somebody to see my
inner beauty and understand my needs as well. You see how most people are gone from their homes most of the day and
do lots of stuff around? Well, I am the kind of dog that cannot just stay at home alone all day long, hour after hour, day after
day. See, I am an adult Treeing Walker Coonhound. This long breed name means I was bred to hunt small animals like
squirrels and raccoons but I gave myself the liberty to extend my hunting instinct to cats as well so my home and
neighborhood or back yard should be kitty free. From my breed's name you can also guess that I like to walk a lot but don't
be fooled, I do settle after a nice time out and I am one of the sweetest cuddlers you'll ever meet. I have good maners
around the house and haven't been allowed on the beds and sofas during my short stays at a foster home. I am usually
quiet unless I have something important to tell you. I am a little afraid of storms so I will try to stay close to you when it pours
with thunders.
Talking about me with others, let me tell you that I am very friendly with all people I meet around, even with little kids. When I
am out I try to say hi to anybody we cross ways with. I like most other dogs when out on walks but I don't do well with
them at home. Did you see how kids fight about something to get the attention or the best toy or treat? Well, I have a
tendency to dislike any dog that will compete with me at home for your attention or something special. Just guide me and I
will try to do my best to please you. Maybe I must learn that you people are not there only for me and that I must wait my
turn even to give hugs.
Do you have a fenced in yard? Are you also a fan of long healthy walks? Are you the family I've been waiting for so long?
Please come pick me up, I am ready to go. You'll see how good I am riding in the car, doing stuff around with you and
walking on the leash with my pinch collar.
