Onyx

Gotcha Day update-Oct 2022: Onyx is doing Very well! Onyx continues to be a major source of happiness and laughter in our home.  In the last six months he has started to more fully enjoy and actually seek affection and cuddles, and the cuddles last longer and are no longer just the “stealthy/sneaky” cuddles against us when he thinks we are sleeping and won’t know. He constantly proves how intelligent he is, all while still being a goofy and silly boy. We can’t believe it’s already been a full year are extremely happy and blessed to have him in our family! 💕

We changed Jack’s name to Onyx, and Onyx is doing GREAT!!  He is the sweetest boy, is extremely smart, and is fitting in perfectly.  He’s eating and sleeping well, crate trained, housetrained, walks exceedingly well on a leash, and loves everyone!  His new vet even fell in love with him already!  He and his new brother Sabre have become great friends and play very well together.  Onyx does well with the run of the house and is only in his crate when we have to leave him home alone with his brother because we still need to monitor their play as Onyx is still recovering from heartworm treatment.  We couldn’t be happier with this new addition to our family and thank you and your organization for your great work!

Jack was adopted in September 2022.
