A couple of our awesome young assistants.

Just a couple of hours each week.

That's all it takes to prove to a dog that life is still a good, fine thing. All it takes to prove that people still deserve loyalty and trust. If you've ever considered filling a couple of hours with a worthwhile project, we have a couple of furry faces you might like to meet.

NCCR has been blessed with a tremendous group of kids and adults who know they make a difference every time they visit. Here's a few stories to tell you why:

Why We Volunteer by Jack & Kathie Horst

NCCR is always in need of a pair of helping hands; folks who can help fix things, walk, groom and feed the dogs, clean the facility, and countless other small tasks that all add up to a major change in the lives of our dogs.

Please tell us how to contact you.
We don't require our volunteers to live in any specific location. Some activities, though, may require a visit to our shelter in Westfield, NY (we're located in the Fredonia & Buffalo region of upstate New York).
