She has adjusted really well to her new home and we couldn’t be happier!  She was nervous around us for the first couple of days, but is now feeling comfortable and getting used to our routine. She loves running around our fenced yard chasing after sticks and tennis balls.  She also loves going for walks and has been quite good on her leash.  She’s energetic outside, but is well-behaved in the house playing with her toys, looking out the windows, or just lying in some comfy blankets. By the end of the day she loves to lay down in our lap and fall asleep. Cali has quickly and smoothly become a wonderful new addition to our family and we’re so thankful to NCCR for helping us find our Cali-girl!

Cali, formerly Bambi, was adopted in October 2025.
