Everything is going great with Goldie. She has another golden retriever to lay around with and she’s become best friends with my shepherd mix. So far the only issue was housebreaking and I think we’ve licked that already. She went through the doggy door on the second day, but then would only stick her head through it for about a week. But a few days ago she started coming in and out through the door on her own all the time, so that’s great. Jordan was right about her wanting to be outside. She loves it outside, especially if there is another dog out with her. She’s already a much loved member of the family.
Goldie, formerly Golda, was adopted in March 2023.
