Jerry is doing great! I did not rename him as already responds to his name. He is adjusting to his new life quite easily. We have a regular routine and he seems very happy here.  He is VERY obedient and SOOO lovable!! He is very smart and you only have to tell him things once.  We have two walks a day to the park down the street and he is mastering heel on his leash. He is also learning to run with me & we’re both getting in shape.  He has been to the dog park down the road and did well with the other dogs! He loves belly rubs, pets and gives big hugs by nuzzling up and pressing his whole body into your legs.  He is definitely coming out of his shell; he acts silly and is quite a little ham!!  He did not like riding in the car at first but after three times of going somewhere fun, he now hops right in, sits up like a human in the backseat behind me & just enjoys the ride. He has done very well with everyone (people and dogs) he has met so far. He has brought me and my family so much joy!! I feel very grateful that we found each other. I believe he rescued me as much as I rescued him! ❤️🐾🐕🥰

Jericho was adopted in October 2025.
