We love Sophie more every day.  She settled into life with us very quickly and seems very happy and content.  We call her Sweet Sophie.  She loves exploring our property and chasing chipmunks and squirrels.  She enjoys visits from our granddaughters and granddogs.  She is also very fond of car rides and walks along the Riverwalk in Jamestown.  Her first visit to our vet went very well and she was very cooperative.  We have another appointment in August for an annual visit and rabies booster etc.  We are so glad to have Sophie as part of our family.   We think she was just waiting for us to come for her at the shelter.  Thank you for taking such good care of her for so long.

Sophie was adopted in April 2026.
