This poor girl, just a year old Poodle from a puppy mill had been pulled by a rescue, but when they found out she was very matted and had canine lice they decided not to take her.  Of course we couldn’t leave her behind, so readily agreed to take her.  She needed immediate vet care and then she was off to a foster home…well, happily that turned out to be her forever home!

She’s doing great and has adapted very well.  Birch figured out how to use communication buttons in less than a week.  She’ll hit the button when she wants to eat, play, go outside.   She’s back to a full coat now after being shaved!

Birch, formerly Tulah, was adopted in September 2022.
