Cornbread is doing really well, one of the easiest pups we’ve had in our 36 yrs together. Great disposition, eager to please  and loves to play. As of today, she is 3 days/3 nights of no accidents.  She’s been on short car rides. Getting her used to baths/grooming. She knows her name, come, sit, outside, and inside. Working on no, drop it, and heel. She’s in love with her big sisters; Scout (German shepherd), Stella (pit mix), and Ziva (cat who raised S&S from pups).  She has multiple toys, edible dental chews, frozen lick mats & kongs. She’s nabs the occasional shoe but easily redirected. She was “bitey” with us the first few days but no longer and is taking training treats from our fingers and loves to be held belly up. She likes to sleep that way too!  She’s had one play date with 3 dogs; their mama is a retired vet.

Cornbread was adopted in July 2026.
