Demo arrived at NCCR on 9/30/23, pulled from an overcrowded shelter that ran out of room for him. He is an approximately 2-year-old neutered male Morkipoo (Maltese/Yorkie/Poodle mix) weighing around 25 lbs. Demo is reportedly friendly with other dogs, and seems to be very friendly with people, including children.
Demo was adopted briefly but his adopter had some unexpected health issues, so he is available again. This info was provided: “He’s a great dog! So cuddly and sweet and he only had a few accidents in the house in the first few days. He doesn’t chew anything but his toys. He sleeps thru the night in his kennel.”
Demo is in foster care. Meet and greets will be arranged for approved applications, so if you think you might be interested in him, put in your application!
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an Adoption Application. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far as processing your application before a home was found. We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.

Please also let your references know that someone from NCCR will be calling them. Most adoption team members call from their personal phone so advise your references that there may be an unknown number or a private number calling them.
