Finn is a 7 month old, 7 lb. MaltiPoo puppy in search of a home with at least one small, playful, friendly resident dog. He was adopted, but was not doing well as an only. He will be happiest with someone who is home most of the time, as he does not like to be left alone. Finn is fond of being pet and craves attention. He has short bursts of energy when he scampers about with toys and plays fetch. He does well leash walking when paired with another dog. Finn sure would enjoy having a securely fenced yard to frolic in.
Finn gets along well with his three foster sisters and likes to snuggle with one. Due to his small stature, a home without young children would probably be best. Cats are unknown. He is learning basic commands, doesn’t mind grooming, and is doing well with house training. With positive reinforcement and a consistent schedule, he should master it before long. Finn is a playful and friendly little fella. He looks forward to joining his forever family and living his best life!
If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an Adoption Application. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far as processing your application before a home was found. It is much easier and quicker for us to respond by email as we receive many phone calls each day.
We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
*PLEASE double check all of the phone numbers that you provide as if they are incorrect, we will be unable to process your application. Please also let your references know that someone from NCCR will be calling them. Most adoption team members call from their personal phone so advise your references that there may be an unknown number or a private number calling them.
