Update his foster home: Jermaine is a super sweet 10 lb. munchkin, around 5 years old, who is very well behaved, rarely barks, and dreams of being a beloved lap dog. He gets along well with his foster sisters, but may be okay as an only, if he isn’t left alone for too long. Jermaine has mastered leash walking, is house trained, and understands basic commands. He seems to be cat friendly and loves people too! You can’t ask for a nicer little dog to share your heart and home with!
Jermaine along with four others, had the misfortune of being dumped. They were in rough shape, matted, dirty, and hungry, thrown away by the person who should have been taking care of them. They didn’t know it at the time, but their luck was about to change for the better. Gathered up by helping hands, they found their way to NCCR and a brighter future! This little guy is waiting for a family who can give him the patience, understanding, and kindness he had been lacking before. A home with another dog or two would be ideal; a fenced yard is required.

If you still think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an Adoption Application. *After you have completed your application, you will get a confirmation that we have received your application. It takes a lot of time to process the applications, so we ask for your patience while we do so. If you see that the dog you were interested in has been adopted it means there were many applications for that dog and we did not get as far as processing your application before a home was found. We welcome you to apply again if you see another dog that interests you. If you have a question, please email your question to adoptions@caninerescue.org. It is much easier and quicker for us to respond by email as we receive many phone calls each day.
We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
