Mia is settling in quite well.  She has taken over our new couch, which we have covered for her “protection.”  She has had two number 2  accidents but we are figuring out her rhythms and hope to do better in the future.  We are arranging for some training but she is already so sweet (lots of kisses!) that we just want some basic obedience training.  She starts out sleeping each night on her new bed but almost always ends up spending most of the night on her old bed in a kennel that we leave open for her.  I have been taking her to a large open field and she loves doing Zoomie runs back and forth.  She is really fast!  She doesn’t appear shy of the water so we will try swimming when the water temperature gets higher.

Mia was adopted in February 2026.
