Mia Molly is looking for an adoptive family or person to call her own and forever. She was found in the streets of Dunkirk about 2 months ago, extremely cold and frightened. It took her about 2 weeks to start trusting her carers enough as to crawl out of her bed and safe zone. In few more days and weeks she broke loose of some of the invisible chains of fear and history of abuse showing more and more her loving, loyal, trusting, playful personality. Molly is probably about 2-3 years old, weighs about 55 pounds, rides well in the car, gets along with cats, is doing fine with a small male dog, she is house broken but needs to be carried out sometimes (despite not wanting) due to the cold and her traumatic experience of having been left outside for long periods of time. She has successfully used pee pads when needed. She doesn’t seem to have experience being on a leash. She loves playing fetch and parading around with her favorite toys. She is a sweetheart that will easily steal your heart. Due to her traumatic past experiences, it may take her longer to warm up to men. Mia Molly has not yet been spayed but will be once arrangements are made through the DCO or the rescue that will take her under their wing to help her find a loving family.
