Francie, who now goes by Presley is settling in nicely.  We couldn’t be more pleased with her progress.  She learned how to use the doggie door by watching our Gracie a few times, and now, takes it upon herself to go outside, do her business and come back inside.  She’s getting daily walks, and that is a work in progress, but she loves the walks and loves being outside.  

She has an amazing personality and we’re starting to see it more each day.  We got her a new bed and she has slept in it every night.  We take it into the bedroom, take her and put her in, and she’s settled for the night.  My husband and I are so surprised at how quickly she’s adjusting.  She still has moments of being skittish when we reach out to pet her, but within a few seconds she relaxes and seems to enjoy the kind words and petting.  

We’re in the process of adopting a second one and are fostering until she is spayed next week.  She came to the house a few days after Presley and has learned the doggie door from her big “sisters”.  Presley has been welcoming and helpful with the addition of Lucy (aka Charlotte).
