July 2024 update!   I adopted Kush (his new name is Queso) last July. I’m writing to let you know that he is the love of our lives! And we have more good news: Queso just graduated and is now officially a Therapy Tails Ontario dog! He and I will start visiting the community next week. This little guy is so gentle and loving, and we look forward to bringing smiles and comfort to the Niagara region. Congratulations Queso from all of us at NCCR!! 

Kush, now known as Queso has settled in very well. He has integrated with both our existing dogs and they have accepted him!  He is a sweet gentle dog that just needs to learn the basic manners and leash control. Was not housetrained at first but no accidents for 4 days. None of this is an issue for us as the rescues usually need this basic training. My wife is home for the summer so he is getting lots of attention and supervision.

Queso, formerly Kush, was adopted in July 2023.
