Rowdy

Rowdy

He is getting much better about pulling on walks, and minus having a lot of interest in the cats he is doing really well. The cats stay far away from him and we are slowly introducing them to him. It’s going to be a process. Thankfully, I don’t think he’s aggressive to them, just curious and the cats have a place to go away from him.

The first 48 hours were stressful as he was scared of the stairs and afraid to go down them, so he had an accident. But our daughter was able to work with him, by going down a few stairs and getting a treat. He also wasn’t sure about his food system, so we switched that up and he is eating well.

He loves his chew toys, playing ball, and getting belly rubs. Our resident dog, Penny, loves him and enjoys playing with him. All in all he is doing very well and a great addition to the family.

Rowdy was adopted in May 2023.
