1st Gotcha Day update-August 2023:  Sage loves to play, sunbathe, and go for long walks and car rides. She’s incredibly friendly to everyone she meets and loves giving kisses. She also adores cuddling, especially when there’s a fluffy blanket to burrow under. Overall, she’s a wonderful addition to our family and we love her dearly!

Sage is adjusting well. As she gets more comfortable being with us, her personality is coming out more. We find she loves being with us and going for car rides. She is being loved on and in returns the love to us. We’ve seen no bad behavior and feel truly blessed to have her as an addition to our family.

She has been eating and sleeping well. She sleeps with me or my daughter every night and during the day either in the dog bed we have for her or our recliner chair. The feeding schedule we continued you sent us home with. She doesn’t eat it all at once but does eat when she wants it.

We take at least five daily walks a day out in our back field. Has had no accidents in the home. My daughter when home love to run with her out back. Sage thinks we need to visit my mom and brother who live next door. She just seems to love everyone.

Sage was adopted in August 2022.
