May 2025 update: The dogs spoiled me for Mother’s Day, took a beautiful hike and had their first pup cup ice cream!
I absolutely adore these dogs! Their new names are Spruce (Macy) and Summit (Kavic). Spruce just had her eye surgery on Thursday and is still on some meds but everything went smoothly and she’s acting like her normal sweet self. If anything, she actually seems more comfortable than ever before. I imagine the eye had been uncomfortable for her! And of course Summit is so loyal and protective of her, especially as she recovers. Obviously they very much want to be good dogs and it’s cute to see them check for my approval and affection….. There’s LOTS of snuggles every night!
Spruce and Summit, formerly Macy and Kavic, were adopted in February 2025.
