Trumpet has been a big blessing in my life and those who stop in my bookshop (Novel Destination) think he is a gem too. Our FB posts about him and you folks got lots of likes.

He is still learning limits ( ie. no getting up on counters) and we are working out routines that make sense to us both. Because he is so curious and has a great nose, I crate him at night. We both sleep better that way. He loves to play fetch and go for walks. He has been good with kids. The other dogs in my friends/family have are sources of delight for Walt (Trumpet’s new name )…he so loves playing!
