Bella recognized her name so I didn’t change that part, but with her beautiful blue eyes, she has been renamed Bellablue. She is doing very well. She did have a couple accidents while we were getting used to how to communicate with each other. She is doing well at learning how to walk on the leash. As you can see from the photos, she loves her cage as her safe space and she goes right in when I say ‘Bellablue In’. She puts everything that’s hers Inside the cage, including a sneaker I couldn’t find. I guess that means she’s claimed me as her person. She sleeps during the day in her cage, on the couch, on the recliner, on the bed I’ve made in my office for her while I’m working , and at night she sleeps on the bed curled up in a tight ball right next to me. I guess it’s safe to say that we are two happy girls who found each other.

Bella was adopted in October 2023.
