Back in May we had adopted Raven (now Oreo) from NCCR and felt we wanted both a friend for Oreo and another “fur baby” for our family. We originally brought Apricot home on a slumber party to see how both dogs adjusted to each other. It was not love at first sight but they did warm up before the end of the two weeks and are now inseparable. Apricot (now Cinnamon) is doing amazingly well. Both dogs have complete opposite personalities, and have adopted each other’s strengths. Cinnamon is the most cuddliest affectionate dog I have ever encountered. If there is an open lap, she’s sitting on it. She is very protective, kind and loves playing tug a war with her rope toy- or pretty much any toy. We have had two great experiences with NCCR and are very grateful for both Oreo and Cinnamon.
