Wow, where do I begin? It’s been a blessing welcoming our 5th NCCR adopted fur baby, Emma (adopted Sept 2025), joining our 4th, Ozzie (adopted March 2024). It’s been a whirlwind of love, energy, and fun!
Each picture shows a bit of Emma’s life on 40 acres with vineyard, trees, woods, pond, and plenty of sniffs from daily/nightly visitors (deer, coyotes, fox, turkeys, cats, and bear). Emma chose favorite spots to watch deer dining at the apple tree, joining her big brother in games of play and tug, watching for human Dad to come home, enjoyment at Kristy’s K9-5 Doggy Daycare, places to rest, and outside looking at her new home. Included is a pic at training with human Mom. While still working on a couple of training hiccups, Emma excels with other directives. On an added note, she sticks to Ozzie’s side like glue ❤️ and learns from him – he’s laid back, easy going, and gentle. A good and loving role model. We often catch moments of them sharing kisses.
Thank you to NCCR and their dedicated staff and volunteers. I’ve seen, witnessed, and can contest to the wonderful care provided to the many pets provided for adoptions/rescues for wonderful rehoming. Thank you for all our wonderful rescues that blessed our lives over the years. You truly are the BEST animal adoption and care agency!! ❤️
Emma was adopted in September 2025.
