Jasper is doing lovely – we opted to keep his name and it feels like he’s always been here. He spends his days helping with homeschooling (he loves when my daughter reads to him), going on adventures to the dog park, going on hikes and walks and nature explorations with the kids, and going to the playground. On Wednesdays when we go to homeschool co-op for the day, he is going to doggy daycare at a local place and all reports are that he really enjoys it there since he gets to run off all his energy with other dogs. The only issue we’re having at the moment is that he gets really excited about our cats, who don’t appreciate the attention, but we’re scheduled in to do some training that should help and just got some feliway to try. We also made sure the cats have their own space where they have all the things they need and he can’t get to them (but can see them) so hopefully that will help things as well. They all just need some time to get used to each other.

Jasper was adopted in February 2024.
