July update! Sarge and my cat are getting along now too.  He retrieves the cat’s food bowl, after the cat finishes, and licking it clean. I get such a kick out if it!   I had d to move some branches from the yard to out in the woods using my UTV  and Sarge had so much fun running around, ahead, behind me in the UTV!  Sarge is SO well behaved.

Sarge is wonderful; doing well. He is calm, comes to his name which is still Sarge.  He is 8 years old and climbs the steps as quickly(?) as I do! I can leave him alone for a couple hours with no incidents.He sticks by me. We go for unleashed walks in our woods where he wanders a bit but not out of sight and happily comes when called. He seems to be settling in quite well. I am very happy with Sarge!

Sarge was adopted in May 2025.
